HARDOO
Effective Date: 08/10/2026
Version: 1.0
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Hardoo, a sole proprietorship owned by Vijay (“Hardoo”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They apply when you create an account or use the Hardoo mobile application, website and related services (“Platform”) to book pickup and delivery services.
By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Hardoo Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
“Booking” means a request for a pickup and one or more deliveries made through the Platform. “Stop” means one delivery point in a Booking. “Parcel” means an item sent in a Booking. “Receiver” means the person who is to receive a Parcel at a Stop. “Driver” means an independent driver or service provider who accepts a Booking through the Platform. “Pickup OTP” and “Delivery OTP” mean the one-time codes used to confirm pickup and delivery. “Bilty” means a receipt or delivery-proof photograph uploaded by a Driver.
Hardoo is a technology platform that connects Customers with independent Drivers. Drivers are independent service providers and are not employees or agents of Hardoo. The delivery service is carried out by the Driver. Hardoo provides the Platform, matching, tracking, support and record-keeping, subject to Applicable Law.
If a law or regulation applies to Hardoo as an aggregator or platform, Hardoo will follow it. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Applicable Law that cannot lawfully be limited.
You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter into a binding contract, and have a valid Indian mobile number. You log in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS.
You must give accurate information and keep your account secure. Do not share your login OTP, Pickup OTP or Delivery OTP with anyone except as these Terms explain. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
Hardoo may refuse, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal reasons or breach of these Terms, subject to Applicable Law.
Hardoo may start with a limited pilot area and a limited number of Drivers. At launch, deliveries are accepted only where the driving distance from the pickup point to the Stop is within 5 km. Bookings above that distance are rejected until Hardoo enables extended-distance delivery. The distance limit, the fare for extended distances and other service limits may change, and the Platform shows the current rules when you book.
A Booking has one pickup point and one or more Stops (up to 10 Stops at the time of booking). For each Stop you provide the Receiver's name, the delivery address and map pin, the number of Parcels, the weight of each Parcel, and optionally the Receiver's mobile number and delivery notes. You are responsible for giving correct addresses, map pins, contact details and weights.
A Booking is created when you confirm it. Hardoo does not guarantee that a Driver will be available or accept. Nearby Drivers are notified, and the first approved Driver to accept the Booking is assigned to it.
After confirming, you may add more Stops to the same Booking until the Driver has picked up the Parcels, up to the maximum number of Stops allowed. The fare for the added Stops is added to the Booking, the Receiver of the new Stop receives a Delivery OTP, and the Driver is told. After pickup, you must create a new Booking for any further Stops.
Each Parcel must weigh 50 kg or less, or the limit shown in the Platform. Each Parcel's weight must be entered accurately and separately. A Driver may refuse a Parcel that is clearly heavier than declared, unsafe or not properly packed.
You are responsible for proper packaging and labelling and for having the legal right to send each Parcel. Hardoo does not open, inspect or verify the contents or value of Parcels.
Hardoo does not set a maximum value for a Parcel, but any compensation for loss or damage is limited as explained in section 16. You send Parcels at your own risk. Do not send cash, which is prohibited. We also recommend that you do not send jewellery or other highly valuable or irreplaceable items, and that you keep proof of the value of what you send.
You must not send: intoxicating or illegal substances and drugs; weapons; flammable, explosive or other dangerous goods; cash or money; stolen property or contraband; or any other item that is illegal or unsafe to carry. A Driver may refuse or stop a delivery of such an item. Hardoo may cancel the Booking, suspend the account and report the matter to the authorities where the law requires or permits.
The fare for each Booking is calculated from the distance to each Stop, the number of Parcels and the weight of each Parcel. A base fare applies per Parcel, an extra unloading charge applies to heavier Parcels, and a different rate applies to extended distances when Hardoo enables them. The Platform shows the fare breakdown (per Parcel, per Stop and the Booking total) before you confirm. The amounts shown in the Platform at the time of booking are the amounts that apply.
Hardoo may change the fare for a particular Booking, for example to correct a mistake or for special handling. If it does, the revised fare is shown in the Platform to you and to the Driver with the change status. Hardoo may change its fare structure for future Bookings. Any waiting or other extra charges apply only where they are disclosed. Applicable taxes, if any, will be shown where required.
During the initial pilot, payment is made in cash directly to the Driver. When you book, you choose whether to pay on pickup or on delivery. The Platform tracks the payment status as “To be paid” or “Paid”.
You must pay the fare shown in the Platform (including any revision shown in the Platform). The Driver must not ask for any other amount. If a Driver asks for more, do not pay it and tell Hardoo support. Hardoo may later add other payment methods, a platform fee or other charges and will tell you through the Platform or as the law requires.
The Platform shows you a Pickup OTP for each Booking. Give it to the Driver only when the Driver is with you to collect the Parcels. The Driver enters it to confirm pickup.
If you entered a Receiver's mobile number for a Stop, the Platform shows you a Delivery OTP for that Stop. Hardoo does not currently send SMS messages to Receivers. You give the Delivery OTP to the Receiver (you may use the “Send OTP on WhatsApp” button in the Platform, which opens WhatsApp on your phone so that you send the message yourself). The Receiver should give the OTP to the Driver only after checking and receiving the Parcel. The Driver enters it to confirm delivery.
If you did not enter a Receiver's mobile number for a Stop, the Driver confirms delivery by uploading a Bilty or delivery-proof photograph, which you can view in the Platform.
OTPs do not expire by time and stop working only after they are used. If an OTP is shared too early or with the wrong person, Hardoo may not be able to undo the confirmation. Several wrong OTP attempts temporarily lock the entry.
The Driver delivers the Stops in the planned order unless Hardoo changes the assignment or the order. Each Stop has its own status, and the Booking shows progress such as “3 of 10 stops delivered”. A Booking is complete when every Stop is delivered or closed.
After a Driver accepts, the Platform shows you the Driver's name and phone number and, while the Booking is in progress, the Driver's live location. A Driver should pick up an accepted Booking within 1 hour. Hardoo is alerted to late pickups and may contact the Driver, change the assignment or take other steps. Arrival and delivery times shown are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Have the Parcels ready and be reachable at pickup. Make sure the Receiver can be reached and can receive the Parcel. Treat Drivers and Receivers with respect. If delivery fails, for example because the Receiver is unavailable, the Driver may record the Stop as failed with a reason. Contact Hardoo support so that Hardoo can decide how to proceed. Any extra charge for a failed delivery or return will be disclosed to you first.
You can cancel a Booking in the Platform only while it is still searching for a Driver. After a Driver has accepted, you cannot cancel in the Platform. Please call the Hardoo helpline 9672807776 or contact support. Hardoo will review each case and decide what to do, for example change the assignment or cancel. Where a Driver has already spent time or effort on the Booking, Hardoo may ask you to pay a fair amount for it, and will tell you before it does so.
A Driver or Hardoo may cancel or change a Booking for safety, a prohibited or unsafe Parcel, wrong or incomplete information, a vehicle problem, an emergency, a legal restriction or similar reasons. Repeated misuse of cancellations may lead to suspension.
From the moment the Driver confirms pickup in the Platform until delivery of the Parcel is confirmed by Delivery OTP or delivery-proof photograph, the Driver is responsible for taking proper care of the Parcel. If a Parcel is lost or damaged in that period, the Driver is responsible, subject to Applicable Law and the facts of the case.
Compensation limit: if a Driver is responsible for the loss of or damage to a Parcel, the amount that can be claimed is limited to the proven value of the Parcel or ten times the fare of that Booking, whichever is lower. This limit does not apply where Applicable Law does not allow it.
Please report loss or damage as soon as you can, and preferably within 24 hours, through the helpline 9672807776 or the support contact in these Terms. Give the Booking details and any photographs and proof of value. Hardoo will help by contacting the Driver, looking at the records available to it (such as OTP confirmations, delivery-proof photographs, status history and location records) and helping to reach a fair resolution between you and the Driver.
Hardoo is a technology platform. Hardoo does not itself pay compensation for lost or damaged Parcels and is not responsible for loss or damage caused by Drivers, Receivers or others, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. The outcome of a claim depends on the evidence, the circumstances, any insurance and Applicable Law.
The Driver is not responsible for loss or damage before pickup is confirmed or after delivery is confirmed, or for loss or damage caused by poor packaging, a hidden defect, a prohibited item, an inaccurate description or weight, or events outside the Driver's reasonable control. Because Hardoo sets no maximum value for Parcels and does not verify contents, you send Parcels at your own risk as set out above. Nothing in this section removes any right that you have under Applicable Law and that cannot lawfully be removed.
A delivery confirmed by Delivery OTP, or by a Bilty or delivery-proof photograph, is treated as proof of delivery for the Stop. If you believe a delivery was recorded wrongly, tell Hardoo at once. Hardoo keeps records of Bookings, status history, OTP confirmations, photographs, payments and complaints, and may use them to resolve disputes.
When you give a Receiver's name or mobile number, you confirm that you are allowed to share it for the delivery. Hardoo shows the Receiver's name and number to the assigned Driver so that the Driver can contact the Receiver, and uses them to complete the delivery, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Do not give the information of people who have asked not to be contacted.
You must not threaten, harass, abuse or discriminate against Drivers, Receivers or Hardoo staff. You must not make fake or repeated false Bookings, give false information, misuse OTPs or the Platform, interfere with the Platform or its security, try to avoid fares, or use customer or Driver information for any purpose other than the Booking. Hardoo may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
The Platform uses maps and map pins to set pickup and delivery points. Where you allow it, the Platform may use your device location to help you choose a point. Notifications may be sent to you by push notification about your Bookings. You can change device permissions at any time, but some features may then not work.
Hardoo collects and uses personal information as described in the Hardoo Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You can delete your account in the app under Profile, by choosing Delete account and typing DELETE. You cannot delete the account while a Booking is in progress. When you delete your account, your name, phone number and notification token are removed or replaced, and you are logged out. Past Booking records may be kept without your name and phone number where needed for accounting, safety, fraud prevention, legal reasons or dispute resolution, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You can also contact support to ask for deletion.
Hardoo owns or has the rights to the Platform, software, app, website, trademarks, logos, designs and databases. You may use the Platform only as these Terms allow. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape or misuse it.
Hardoo works to keep the Platform available but does not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Maps, distances, routes and arrival times are estimates and may be wrong. To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, Hardoo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business, or for the acts or omissions of Drivers, Receivers or other third parties. Where Hardoo is found liable to you in connection with a Booking, its total liability will not be more than the fare paid or payable for that Booking, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, you are responsible for losses, claims and costs that Hardoo or a Driver suffers because you sent a prohibited or unlawful Parcel, gave false or misleading information, broke these Terms, misused the Platform or committed fraud.
If you have a complaint, first contact the helpline 9672807776 or Hardoo support at 9672807776 / support@hardoo.in. If it is not resolved, you may write to the Grievance Officer: Vijay, Proprietor and Grievance Officer, support@hardoo.in, 9672807776. Hardoo will handle complaints under Applicable Law and its grievance procedure.
Hardoo may operate the Platform as a limited pilot in a small area with a limited number of Drivers. Features, areas, fares, limits and payment methods may change during and after the pilot. A pilot or any internal limit is an operational decision and is not an exemption from Applicable Law.
Hardoo may update these Terms for legal, regulatory, safety, operational, pricing or business reasons. We will tell you through the Platform or as the law requires, and the new version applies from the date stated. Where the law requires notice or your consent, Hardoo will follow it. If you keep using the Platform after the change, you accept the new Terms, unless the law requires something more.
Hardoo and Drivers are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, such as natural disasters, floods, strikes, road closures, accidents, government orders, network or power failures, or other emergencies.
If any part of these Terms is invalid or cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Hardoo about the Platform. If Hardoo does not enforce a right straight away, it does not lose that right. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. Hardoo may transfer its rights as part of a business transfer, subject to Applicable Law. Notices may be given through the Platform, by SMS or by email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Applicable Law, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
